We are pleased to announce that our school’s English Debating Team has emerged victorious as the Champions of the highly-competitive Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Competition 2023.
As the flagship competition of the Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Association, participants are given the opportunity to learn about the complex legal system of Hong Kong as well as the intricacies of procedural justice and criminal law in Hong Kong.
The team members include: Nicholas Law Sze Lai (5D), Sit Pok Shun Jaden (5F), Banipal Gurrajpreet (4D) and Lee Hok Lam (4F).
Additionally, Sit Pok Shun Jaden received an Honorary Mention for Outstanding Advocacy in both the Quarter Finals and Grand Finals of the competition.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Team’s Teacher Advisors Mr. Kam, Mr. Mak and Mr. Wong for their continued guidance, which has enabled our Josephians to accomplish great feats. We would also like to thank the law tutors from the Association who have given us many comprehensive explanations of legal questions.
