Interact Club’s Country Park Clean-up Service was held on the 26th of February. Through this event, Interact Club aimed to educate Interactors on the importance of environmental conservation, along with serving the public by making the hiking trail cleaner.
Our Interactors hiked from Siu Sai Wan Promenade to Big Wave Bay Beach, whilst picking up trash disposed of by hikers on the way. Our Interactors were split into 2 groups, both walked along Dragon Trail, but split up midway onto Cape Collision Road and Pottinger Peak Country Trail, and eventually regrouped at Big Wave Bay Beach.
This event truly captured the spirit of the Interactors perfectly whilst doing good at the same time. We hope that Josephians will be willing to proactively clean our city in the future.
