It was a blazing hot day on the 3rd of October, when the athletics meet blasted off! But even in the heat, almost all our boys got their hands roughen up and their feet sore.
Onto the fields we went, abandoning all prior thoughts of hesitancy and replacing it with the curdling desire to win! Competing against each other in the rawest form of physical contest, whether winners or losers, everyone was a sportsman.
