The urban planning workshop was the first of its kind at local schools. Our students were initially introduced to basic urban planning concepts, such as sustainability, cohesion and inclusiveness. These ideas were put into practice as students partook in the development of four sites located in Elizabeth Place, Jade City.
Having to meet various demands by the local city council, as well as restrict development to not more than half of the available floor space, it was a great challenge to maintain a low density development, while ticking as many boxes as possible.
