Our school’s English Debate Team has been crowned champion in the 2017-2018 Term 1 Hong Kong Secondary Schools Debating Competition (Hong Kong Island & Kowloon Division One (Senior)). The final match was up against YWCA Hioe Tjo Yoeng College on the motion THBT Hong Kong consumers should buy more fair trade products, we, despite the conceptually biased motion, triumphed with the team’s calibre.
Our team members include Benjamin Chan (Class 4F), Denis Chan (Class 4E) and Matthew Mo (Class 5E) – who was the best speaker in today’s tight debate.
