SJC X HFCC Leadership Programme – Urban Plan Workshop

The Urban Planning Workshop, in collaboration with St. Joseph’s College Extra Curricular Activities Committee and the Holy Family Canossian College Student’s Association, was successfully held on 5 April 2025 (Saturday), three days after the Pre Lesson had been conducted. During this workshop, participants were introduced to the concept of real-world construction and what it means to juggle considerations in a simulation of humanity. Partakers were required to develop a lucid sense of space and sharpen their presentational skills when exhibiting their blueprints.

Through this event, communication between team members with different roles were also of paramount importance to the completion of one’s project. Hence, the workshop has provided participants with a valuable opportunity for interactions between students, since everyone has shared insights and gained further understanding of urban planning through deep group discussions and activities. We truly hope students would be able to apply the working capability and cooperation ability they learnt in tackling real life problems. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Miss Wendy Chan from HFCC, Mr Jeffrey Yim and Mr CY Tam from SJC for accompanying us during the workshop, and we would express our admiration to the Urban Land Institute for sending experienced colleagues to guide us incredibly well.
