On behalf of the ECAC, we are grateful to announce that the Teacher-Student Friendly Cuju Match was held during the brand-new Chinese Cultural Week, on the 21st of January (Tuesday) to be exact. During the event, Josephians and teachers succeeded in showcasing their football skills in the entertaining match despite playing with a cuju (a ball which is smaller than normal football size), while simultaneously embracing the Lunar New Year atmosphere. It was certainly mutually beneficial! Additionally, a stronger bond between students and teachers has been established, and both sides have exhibited their sportsmanship well.
We sincerely hope that Josephians can nurture their sense of national pride throughout the rewarding event, as well as cherishing the time playing traditional Chinese sports. We were sure it was a rare opportunity for Josephians to play against one another using a cuju! Meanwhile, we hope all of you didn’t miss out on the exhilarating match and enjoyed it thoroughly! We would like to express our utmost appreciation to the teachers who participated!
