On the 20th of December, 2024 (Friday), the Social Service Group has successfully organized the Christmas Service, located in the Whampoa Integrated Children & Youth Service Centre of United Brethren in Christ. There’s nothing more meaningful and convivial than spreading festive cheer during the Christmas holiday! Through holding various games and DIY workshop, the event aims to provide a remarkable and enjoyable Christmas for children.
Throughout this event, participants had a memorable time with the children in the centre. The interaction between students and children stressed the importance of helping different people in society and assisting those who are in need, making sure everyone feels the love and festivity during this time of year. We hope that students have been able to raise social awareness and enhance their sense of belonging and contribution to the community through this worthwhile activity.
We would like to thereby thank the SSG again for organizing such a worthwhile and meaningful service for plenty of our Josephians. It is highly appreciated and we genuinely look forward to more services in the future!
