We are pleased to share that a few of our form 5 students participated in the International Biology Olympiad – Hong Kong Contest 2023 in November and achieved outstanding results. Among them, Chan Yik Cheung from 5F attained the Silver Award. 
This accomplishment enabled him to apply for the “IBO Training Programme – Phase I”. Upon completion of the phase I training, he may also have the opportunity to apply for HKAGE student membership through the “Nurturing the Gifted Scheme.”
We are truly delighted for Chan Yik Cheung, especially given that his dedication and perseverance prior to the competition have finally paid off, as well as his undoubted ability. 
On behalf of the ECAC, we hope that academically gifted students will continue to reach their potential through participating in more worldwide contests, and be able to demonstrate their academic prowess.
