It is with great pleasure to announce that our A Grade Basketball Team dominated Hon Wah College in the Division One (Hong Kong Island) Basketball Finals on 30th November, 2023 (Thursday), with a marvelous victory of 53-37. Josephians have once again fully unleashed their potential in interschool sports competitions. It was another glamorous achievement for us this year!
Our basketball team has accumulated plenty of victories over these last two years, bringing glory to our school; and demonstrating the final realisation of a long-term commitment in themselves. These exemplary results certainly give the team members more motivation and further strengthen their confidence in the squad’s future.
We deeply appreciate all team players, teachers, students, and coaches who were involved in the competition, and have shown the true Josephian spirit from start to finish.
Inspired by this achievement, we hope that Josephians can always strive to do their best, since it has always been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent our school and compete in these interschool competitions. No matter what the results may be, all competitors’ efforts can still be witnessed. Having the mindset to improve and not to give up is much more important than results.
