Congratulations to our form 4 boys getting the champion of the 56th Joint School Science Exhibition (JSSE), in which our school has consecutively won this award for 5 years! Josephians have once again showed academic rigor through interschool competitions.
The invention of “MStarchion” has a huge relation with environmental problems nowadays, as its purpose is to remove radioactive and heavy metal ions through absorption using crown-ether modified starch. Water pollution and radioactive waste pollution problems can hence be solved.
Once again, well done to all the project holders and demonstrators! We truly appreciate your great effort on designing such a marvellous product. Thanks to all the helpers, teachers and students who came to support and visit our booth. Hope our science team can keep it up.
