On Thursday, 12th July, 2018, the Music Society held its 16th Green and White Concert in the concert hall of Hong Kong City Hall. Like previous years, our performing groups performed different pieces for the audience and learnt a lot through the process. We were also fortunate enough to have musicians from Holy Family Canossian College, Sha Tin Methodist College, S.K.M Lam Kau Mow Secondary School, St. Mary’s Canossian College, St. Joseph’s College Primary School as guest performers. Without the unwavering support of the school authority, this concert would not have been made possible.
Over the years, it has always been the Music Society’s utmost priority to cultivate Josephian’s musical interest and share their learning outcome with a wide audience. We believe the GnW Concert is the perfect opportunity for them to demonstrate the fruits of their hard work. Therefore, the GnW Concert has always been the Society’s most important project. Under the guidance of Mr. Christopher Cheng, the Music Panel head and our TIC, the leadership of this year’s President Scott Cheung, and the cooperation between the Society’s Executive Committee Members, the Concert was held smoothly. We aim at attaining newer heights and to strive for improvement in the coming years in order to deliver a fresher and better experience for the audience, and to create a more cohesive music environment in our school. We thank you all again for your love and support.
